Before we show you anything we make, here is what we hold it to. Six rules, in the order we apply them.
We build local-first. Your work lives on your own computer before it lives anywhere else, and sending it to the cloud should be a choice you make, never one made for you.
It is designed in from the first line, not offered later as a setting to find.
We would rather make fewer things and make them well. When we tell you what something does, that is what you will find when you use it.
We sweat the details because you live with them every day. Polish still never outranks whether a tool works, or whether it is safe.
The best tool is the one you stop noticing. We design to get out of the way, so your attention stays on what you are making.
You won’t find screenshots here of things we haven’t finished. That is why this page is short. It will grow.
